2. Training
The next step is to successfully complete the Approved Boeing 737-800 Cabin Crew Training Course with St James Management Services. The training course is approximately 5 weeks long and will be carried out in the UK. The Training consists of all aspects of passenger safety including first-aid, inflight safety and emergency procedures. The course will carry a fee to be paid by candidates directly to St James Management Services. On completion of the training an approved Contract Cabin Crew Agency who supply staff to Ryanair will be recruiting directly from the training course and there are currently sufficient vacancies to recruit all suitable successful candidates.

In order to come onto a course you will need to pay a deposit of £400.

You will not be asked for any other fees from us unless you successfully complete the course.

If you fail the course you will not be asked to pay any more fees for that course and you are normally given one more chance to try again.

If you pass the course the balance of the course fees becomes payable. Most crew choose to pay the balance by salary deduction of £150 a month over 9 months. So the total course fees are £1,750.

Full details will be provided prior to you making any decisions.

This is currently the cheapest course on offer when compared to other training schools.

Should you pass your initial interview and complete the training successfully you are guaranteed a position working as cabin crew on board a Ryanair aircraft.

As part of this course you will also complete an Aviation Cabin Crew NVQ Level 2. This is a qualification which remains with you for life.

3. Employment
The final step is gaining employment with an approved Contract Cabin Crew Agency.  Crewlink and Workforce International are approved cabin crew resourcing agencies.  They will be recruiting successful candidates directly from the training course and will be offering:

  • Fixed-term contracts for full-time positions operating on Ryanair aircraft
  • Operating from London-Stansted airport or any of the other UK and European bases
  • Typical net minimum monthly earnings of £1,000 (pounds sterling) or €1,400 (euros) in the first year
  • Promotion possibilities after only 12 months service
Staff travel perks from Day 1

New Crew on Permanent Contracts are entitled to receive a New Joiners Allowance. This is an allowance of £1000 (€1200) paid to you over and above your normal salary during the first 6 months of your employment.
