The information we collect during registration or enrolment

  • whether you have an EU passport.

Following registration via the website, we may request additional personal data from you which is necessary to advance your enrolment onto our cabin crew training course and prospective employment, in particular you will need to supply information in order to complete the airside identification process, criminal records bureau checks and an airline medical examination.

Sensitive personal data
When you register on-line, you do not have to provide us with sensitive personal information.

Following registration you may be asked for sensitive personal information which is necessary in order to complete airline identification checks, Criminal Records Bureau checks and the airline medical examination.

Sensitive personal data that we collect includes details of your:

  • race or ethnic origin;
  • physical or mental health; or
  • criminal records (including information about criminal proceedings and suspected criminal activities).

How we use the information we collect
We use your personal information :

  • to advance your employment as a cabin crew member
  • to answer your queries or complaints;
  • to support your training;
  • to provide course materials;
  • to carry out administration;
  • for general statistics and research;
  • for obtaining any relevant professional advice;
  • as may be required by law or in connection with legal proceedings (including where we intend to take legal proceedings), or as may be necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

Third parties
To achieve the purposes set out in this privacy statement we may need to share some of the information you provide with your prospective employer, the relevant airport authority, third party background checking companies and the airline to help us deliver our services to you. In addition we might share your details with other companies as may be necessary to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

If you are accepted onto one of our training courses and choose to accept a place on the course, we will share your name and email address with other prospective students.  In addition, we will provide you with the names and email addresses of other students on your course.

We may also give your information to third parties who may take over part or all of the St James Management Services Limited in the future, but only for the purposes outlined in this privacy statement.

Marketing
We will never use your sensitive data for marketing purposes or to target you for customer feedback purposes without your express consent.

Requests for information
If you have not registered but are simply making an enquiry or request for information, we will use your personal information to reply to your enquiry or request. We will not use this information for marketing purposes without your permission or unless you invite us to do so.
